CSPAN UPDATE: Franken Mops the Floor

Around 2 or 3 in the morning, after enjoying Florida stomping LSU and the Red Sox unable to complete an away sweep, I watched CSPAN, an old past time of mine. On tonite was a debate for the Federal Senate seat of Minnesota with none other than Al Franken, Norm Coleman, and Independent Dean Barkley.
Without a doubt it was a romping for Franken with Barkley coming in second. Coleman looked aloof the entire time and was about as interesting as non-yeast whole wheat bread.
Some Qlassic Quotes:
"He thought I was wrong, I thought he was wrong... and of course he was wrong"
-Franken, on his meeting Anton Scalia and discussing Roe V Wade
"I love Animal House"
-Barkley, after an odd, convuluted response invoking Mr. Smith goes to Washington that was mocked by the crowd, opponets and moderator

"I love the Godfather"
-Franken
An interesting note though, all three candidates were anti-war activists in the 60's and yet Coleman is toting the Neo-Con's agenda.
